Orian Announces Cost of Living Payment
Orian is pleased to announce that it will make a special one-off payment this December to support employees with the cost-of-living crisis.
In a letter addressed to staff, CEO Andy Chant acknowledged the challenges faced by staff over the last year:
“I know that this is not sufficient to offset all of your increased costs, but I hope in some way it will allow you to enjoy Christmas a little bit more and be something you find helpful”.
While Orian made its largest ever annual pay increases in April 2023, our employees and the UK as a whole have been affected by inflationary pressures.
All employees at Orian Solutions and its sister company, Cumbria Waste Group, will receive a £100 cost of living payment in December 2023, prior to Christmas.
Orian and its wider group are employers of more than 1,800 people across the North of England, and this initiative forms a part of our ongoing dedication to priotising the welfare of our employees.
